JBD Events was founded by Julie Briggs Dunn, a woman who has always been passionate about creating memorable events. Whether it was helping her Mom set the holiday dinner table or dreaming up the next theme event for her college sorority, she knew she wanted to be an event planner. It was not until her first professional job at a catering and event planning company that Julie discovered she could make a bride’s special day or a company’s corporate event a successful and seamless experience.

With an eye for detail, JBD Events has planned a multitude of weddings and corporate events. Our creativity has transformed a backyard garden, a serene vineyard, and an elegant San Francisco ballroom into the perfect wedding venue.

JBD Events also has valuable experience planning corporate events, including conferences, multi-day team building events, and company meetings. We have a team of experienced event assistants to assure our clients’ events are well-supported and go off without a hitch.

JBD Events continues to be owned and operated by Julie Briggs Dunn, who grew up in the East Bay with her three older sisters and attended Loyola Marymount University. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband Ryan, her son Dylan, and daughter Molly. When Julie’s not working with her clients planning their special event, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and playing tennis.
